Sasha and Jeff

A few years ago I got a call from my dear friend who started telling me about this guy she was interested in. We talked for a bit and then she said it:  I think he's too nice.  We then began the long conversation of "There's no thing as too nice.  If he treats you well it's because he's a keeper and you're worth it."  Both are true: Jeff is a keeper and Sasha is worth it.  I was lucky enough to be there when they got married.  It was a simple courthouse ceremony but it was so romantic and wonderful that I found myself getting teary-eyed a few times.   I hope they have decades and decades of happiness and being nice to each other.  Thank you both for letting me be a part of such a special day in your lives.

Post ceremony celebration with a few friends and family

their ceremony was simple,  their love is extravagant. 

Chris Tomlin in Concert

Last fall during their pledge drive K-Love offered listeners a chance to win a free Chris Tomlin concert for them and 100 of their friends.  A single mom from San Antonio won the contest and blessed other single parents from her church with this great event.  When they asked me to shoot the concert I jumped at the chance.  It was an opportunity to shoot a different type of event and I got to be at an acoustic Chris Tomlin show.   Win win.  Here are a few images from the event. 

A special valentine

Happy Birthday to Mia Joseph! She is a Valentine's Day baby and what better gift of love is there than a beautiful little girl? I I can't believe it's been three years since I photographed her as a newborn. Now she's a bright, happy and beautiful little girl.  I'm so blessed that I get to watch her grow.  To celebrate the occasion of her third birthday I thought I'd show a few photos of the birthday girl from the session with her new sister, Luci.

Kristen and Jonathan

I had the opportunity to do something pretty amazing this weekend: photograph two wonderful people getting engaged. Jonathan told Kristen they were just posing for portraits and we sort of wandered downtown San Antonio a little until we came to a green space in the King William District where he asked her to be his wife. My face hurts from smiling so much. Thank you both so much for letting me be a part of such a special day in your lives.

Oh and in case you couldn't tell, she said yes!

Lucky Lady

Little Luci was born 11:01 am on 1/11/2011. How awesome is that? In addition to having the coolest birthday ever she also has two of the most wonderful people on the planet as her parents and an amazing big sister. I was lucky enough to photograph her big sister, Mia when she was about 10 days old and lucky again to photograph Luci when she was 11 days old. Nick and Gabby thank you for allowing me to be part of your life and asking me to document your beautiful girls. You make very pretty babies :)

Tiny Dancer

How can you not love this face? Having ridiculously gorgeous parents only leads to being so beautiful that you melt hearts. Anjéa is no exception to the rule. The gorgeous daughter of two very talented dancers in town, Anjéa definitely melted my heart with those eyes and that adorable face. Here are a couple of pictures from a quick shoot I did at her parents dance studio. I hope to see her dance some day. I know she'll have her parents talent.
